In the first episode of the new series of Top Gear to be broadcast this Sunday, the show takes a tongue-in-cheek look at 50 years of the E-type with a celebration of the iconic sports car.
The light-hearted retrospective will include some surprises and draw on the clichés surrounding classic car ownership but is underscored by real affection felt by the Top Gear team for the car. In fact, it transpires that Richard Hammond is a proud owner!
The show will be broadcast this Sunday on BBC2 at 20:00.
